hi where or who does barrels for this calibre. I’ve had 3 6.5×284 rifles now & liked but want to do a different this sounds like the rifle for my new years shooting, dies who please any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Gary Emerson

I want to shoot a .284 or .284 Shehane for long range competition. Is it possible to use a short action (SA) or modify a short action, magazine, bottom metal, to allow for 180 VLD, without compromising the full potential (reduced powder capacity) of the 180 VLD?

Thanks Grant, but I can take none of the credit. Great shooters like you helped turn the tide from the 6.5 to 7mm in long range prone and F-Class. I must say that I love you like a brother for your success with the 284 Shehane — the best balanced long range cartridge available. Period.
