I wish they would publish some reloading data for the 250’s. I went out and bought their book and 338 cal. is not even in the thing.

Be wary of .338 calibre, heavy jacket, HP, 250 grain pills for hunting at long range. When Hornady redesigned the 250 grain BTHP match bullet with a heavier jacket, they turned a good long range hunting bullet into a bullet that would just punch small holes in animals.
Having said that, I have used the Berger 300 grain OTM with great results on big game.
