Thank you for posting an honest review of our newly launched line. Constructive criticism is what we need to help develop products that shooting enthusiasts want and use… market research only goes so far. The new softcase line is an experimental one for us and we chose our initial size based on what seemed like a common size of 42″. This size will typically hold modern tactical rifles and/ or shotguns and unfortunately not many other rifles. The difficult task is designing a bag that fits everything without being too big or too small which is why we offer our regular vci bags in rifle/ long rifle and tactical/ compact tactical. We’ve learned over the years that our customers like a snug fitting bag so a universal one size fits all can actually be a deterrent sometimes. As we hopefully move forward with this line you can expect a more suitable Rifle bag measuring around 50″ – 52″ (we’re open to suggestions) and the current bag being renamed the Tactical/ Shotgun case.
