I just purchased the Merit Diopter aid. The first thing I noticed, as advertised, the following were in focus: rear sight, front sight and (amazingly enough) the target. The second thing I noticed was that my sighting on my pistol was slightly different than with an unaided eye. (probably this explains my prior groupings) It goes to say, once the diopter is used, you will have to practice with it but the great result is going to be you will be able to aim your firearm with confidence and obvious better accuracy.

My Thanks to Merit -- simple concept and it works!

Note: I don't wear prescription glasses. Yes, I do use reading glasses. (age 65+)
I put the diopter aid on my shooting safety glasses. By the way, a flat lens versus curved
lens works best. A curved lens can be adapted, however, takes a bit of patience getting it
to stick and stay and to correctly place. (flat lens safety glass can be purchased at most
hardware emporiums -- and yes, those safety glasses will work)
