I hate to waste money, and that's the way I felt when I received this rest BE1004.
This one has the remote windage adjuster. The heavy cable applies a torquing action to the vertical post so if you loosen the verticle Lock to raise or lower ....you'll find yourself aiming way to left of where you were. When making a left-right adjustment it takes two full turns to develope enough torque to start moving windage tray, try that with one hand. Now once you have it aimed and locked down it is nice and steady. Just like a $200 sandbag.

I found the rest to be very well built and very well priced since the older price may have contributed to a negative response if it was bought at the higher pricing. Functions perfectly in all weather have had no need to do much of anything other than put it to good usage. Would like to see more front rest bags manufactured for it as the front bag rest area has a small cavity, Very pleased and highly recommend

Anyone know the country of origin? Where things are made is important to me and it would help to know where the Bald Eagle Rests are made. I checked with Bullets.com but could not find that information.
Thanks!

I have one of these. Wish I hadn't bought it. Windage adjustment doesn't work smoothly at all. Took the whole thing apart and removed the "grease" they used between the sliding surfaces, because it acted more like glue, making it very hard for the surfaces to move relative to each other. Sprayed the clean parts with Hornady Dry Lube and it works much better, but it's still clear this thing is made with low selling price as the major object. I should have spent more money and bought something decent.
