I live in San Diego, America’s 8th most populated city. I have NEVER heard of a public target range. When ever someone finds a place legal to shoot in ( almost always BLM federal land) The govt starts closing it down for “Fire danger” and then when it rains its closed for ” road danger” until its just permanently closed. The one last outdoor free shooting area just had this happen and now there is nowhere left to shoot. :(
