Mr. Stiefel, I completely understand the significance of the Second Amendment and why it is a unique and precious part of our God given rights. The Obama administration and ultraliberal members of Congress have made no secret of their intentions regarding those and other rights so the only course of action that I can see in the short term is to change the administration and remove as many leftists in Congress as possible. We have to think past this election and long into the future. The progressive take over of our Nation has been going on for about 100 years and it will take a long and earnest effort to turn things around. In our weakened financial state the fabric of our society can come apart and those that want chaos will manipulate the situation. If you don’t think that can happen look back to Great Britain when the Pound failed. The British Pound was a reserve currency just like the US Dollar is now. All of our rights are precious and I won’t trade any of them for false security but we usually don’t get optimum choices. May God guide you in your decisions.

If you consider your gun rights as something trivial, by all means, vote for Romney. One needs to look no further than his record on siding with, and voting for more than one gun control bill. I am no Democrat, but will certainly not vote for this clown.

I agree with Tom, and will be swallowing the somewhat bitter pill of voting for Romney in November. Do I think he is a absolute conservative, no. Do I think he will do a better job of keeping government out of my life, no. Do I think he will attempt to fundamentally change this country further from its founding principals, no, and that’s why he will get my vote.

Well,folks you can whine and nash your teeth or you can suck it up and vote the better choice. Mr. Romney was not my first choice but he is the one we have in opposition to Barack Obama who has demonstrated he has no respect for the Constitution or the the law in general. His wealth transfer schemes are going to break this nation and burden your children. He and his enablers are creating an under class that is dependent on government handouts for their existance and he will do whatever he can to abdicate our sovereingty to the United Nations. Is that what you want or do you want a chance to fight another day??? There are less than 60 days to decide.

His answer clearly shows his lack of knowledge about the NRA and it’s membership. We do NOT have tens of millions of NRA members. More like 4 million. Roughly 32 % of them residing in Ca.

i wouldn’t trust a thing he sez concerning guns. There was ONE candidate who has supported the 2nd Amendment his whole life. his name is Ron Paul. he didn’t even get to speak at the RNC in Tampa or the NRA Convention in st. Louis. Now the NRA wants us to vote for Mitt Romney!? Ha, may as well vote for Obama. We are in trouble when Mitt Romney is considered the best that gun owners can hope for!
