Just be aware take the number of guns that it states it will hold and cut it at least in half to find a realistic amount of firearms you can place in the safe. Of course years ago nobody had gun safes. Theres plenty of very effective ways to secure firearms without a safe. Either way lock em up!

I have personally spent dozens of hours researching gun safes — talking to police investigators, locksmiths, and safe manufacturers. I wrote what is probably the most extensive Guide to Gun Safes on the web. However, the point of this article is to reach out to those who have not bought a safe yet because they think they can’t afford one. If you have friends or relatives who don’t have their guns secured, they need to be encouraged to get a safe — right now! If this $597.00 option makes that possible, then that’s progress. With time, as finances improve, they can upgrade to a better, stronger product. But this Cannon safe will be a whole lot better than no safe at all, or one of the cheap “security cabinets” that can be defeated by kids with household tools.
