When Lutz made that comment, he was thinking in Euro’s, not USD. That was an error which was not caught until later on.

The importer sets the price to dealers, and the dealers decide what to charge. If you are gonna complain, complain to your dealer wanting their cut. Anschutz has nothing to do with that.

If you want a good deal on one, look up Neil Stepp at ISS. He is selling them for less than $3000.

Forget about the 17 WSM. Never gonna happen.

Material and production cost most likely not more than $200. What a mark-up! I hope the quality difference is worth it to those who buy it.

That rifle while being a Fortner action is accurate and smooth that price is high.You
can buy a center fire Blaser R8 for that.Heym,Merkel,Strasser also have straight pull rifles in that price range.

Anschutz is very smart as they discontinue all the 1700 series in .17HMR,22Mag ect.Than jack the price sky high!

I will not be buying this product Gouging not allowed.

Well I hecked with Creedmoor on this rifle and this is there reply…

“Ive checked with our supplier and they haven’t received any of these and they aren’t sure if it will be in a left handed version yet.

Please check back with us in a few months to see if anything has come through yet.

They did say that it will probably retail around $3395.00.”

There is a great price disparity $2000 vs $3400 .How can the stated price in the video be off that much?Wholesale?
