I’ve got basically the same paint job but in green on my prone rifle that I rebuilt back in 2006 and the caliber is 6×47 Lapua.

My F-Class gun is a straight .284win. and a 32″ finish length barrel and I’m getting just shy of 2900fps. I think your loads and velocity your getting with the .284 Shehane are just fine. Barrel slow? Off hand I don’t feel so. Be interesting to see what the second barrel does.
