As an Australian, you are looking at the beginning of the end, make no mistake. This is the way it starts.

Soon you are asking permission to purchase, being told that certain chamberings are not allowed and that you can only have x number of rounds of ammunition. Then all of a sudden, using the lists of arms privately owned, the 50bmg or 338 becomes too dangerous, guess what? Someone is coming to your house to make sure you hand it over.

One state/City starts and every 'me too' legislator gets on board. And all of a sudden you aren't able to buy ammo without showing your registration for a particular firearm! NSW Australia just started doing just that!

Requires handgun ammunition to be encoded with serial number. A3704.

How they gunna do this? I would say this law effectivly makes owning existing handgun ammunition impossible and as such stops anyone from shooting a handgun!

These folks are relentless. They simply won't be happy until the 2nd Amendment is completely abolished. Something that they won't talk about (or acknowledge, for that fact) is that the Founding Fathers established the 2nd Amendment in part to keep governing bodies which want to overstep their duties from doing so. There are numerous documents from the era warning of just that & the dangers that come with it. I hope the people of NJ put their foot down to these propositions and simply say "Hell NO!" Rant off...
