Very heavy and very well made. The areas where you can padlock it are reinforced with steel too so you can’t just make a quick cut to bypass the lock if you use one.

My rifle is a BAT action with a 28″ barrel and an IOR 6×24 scope and I have plenty of room to spare.

They are HEAVY so I do use something lighter for the short trips to the range. They are tough though. I remember a video of them driving a tracked APC over one. Another test was putting eggs inside dragging behind a pickup, tossing off a roof etc. and no broken eggs! That’s protection! For long distance travel especially airline travel they are the way to go.
