Boston bomber had gun illegally. gee wasn’t the gun laws suppose to stop this kind of thing? You mean they had the gun illegally,,, and its only the law abiding citizens that doesn’t have them. If these gun laws are going to work the criminals need to start following the law!!

It’s such a shame, we cannot just ban politicians and Democrats in particular. These self righteous morons have no clue as California is already inundated with so many “over-reaching” laws. As a retired Law Enforcement Officer (over 31 yrs) who worked Violent Crimes, Homicides and shootings of all sorts, I can emphatically state there is no connection with banning weapons or ammunition. The crooks and mentally unstable have always (and will continue to do so) been able to get hold of whatever they want to carry out their crimes. There are simply some evil people in this world and no politician will ever change that fact or prevent some of the horrors we read about in the press. Sadly, California is slowly but surely going into the toilet and we only have Sacramento and the voting public, to thank for the insanity and moron politicians.

Of coarse if they enact these laws, when they don’t reduce the gun crime, they will blame the states that don’t have the same restrictions and will then call for the laws to become national.
