You just wish it was an April Fool’s Joke!

Editor: That’s right… we had fun with the haberdashery, but the numbers are all real. Painfully real. You’ll find them in the linked DHS 2013 budget summary. It’s hard to believe that this agency manages to spend nearly $300,000 per employee. Dig into that budget and see what the administration and overhead costs are — you’ll be stupified. DHS makes the Pentagon (with all its cost overruns and waste) look like a model of efficiency.

Darn, I thought they were getting new “Hobnailed Jackboots” and wanted to see how they looked on some of the TSAs from Hotlanta area. Oh well, guess they aren’t dressed to impress !!
