I have a box of these plugs that I use for double coverage, at the range, in combination with some muffs that are the equivalent of Peltor shotgun muffs. They do the job perfectly. I highly recommend them. Just be sure to roll them between your thumb and finger before inserting them, so that they will go in far enough to do a proper job. I see a lot of plugs that I know are not functioning properly, because I can see too much of their length outside of the ear canal.
