He is without question a great shooter. But I love the way he went around what load he as shooting. I guess we will never know what his load was.

I have met Derek on several occasions. He is a first class guy who proved that with the proper equipment and skill set he could be a winner. Great article. This is the type of reporting that separates Accurate Shooter from other sites and keep me coming back.

Regarding Boyd’s observations; I noticed the same things along with the heavy contour straight taper barrel and 32x scope. Attention to detail combined with skill is a tough combination to beat.

I think that couple of things worth noting are that he shoots right handed with a left bolt left port action. Also the bottom of his rifle’s butt stock (toe line) is angled.
