ELR Researcher

the K&M tool is well worth the $42.
I'd give $100 for it if that's what K&M charged. I'll NEVER use another chamfer tool

f d shuster:

Possibly a transposition - or old pricing - the K&M tool I believe you are referring to is $42, not $24 (http://www.kmshooting.com/catalog/case-neck-chamfer-tools/controlled-depth-tapered-reamer_large_6mm-338.html).

Seems like a good idea, for the cutters that have the obvious problem of not being able to control depth of cut, and keeping the tool in-line/straight with the case. The K&M tool solves both shortcomings with the pins that ride in the flutes of the cutter, keeping the cutter straight & controlling depth of cut, to exactly the recommended 1/32". Total cost is $24.
