To Kris you obviously are not experienced in f class the preferred click value is 1/8 moa the finer the better this translates in to 1 1/4 inch per click at 1000 yards and ffp means that when mirage is a problem you power down but reticle still is accurate at any range allowing for exact corrections to the scope turrets I think this a good scope for f class and good value for the price point I will compare with my Nightforce bench rest and report on it .

For someone who shoots long range tactical comps this may have some appeal. To an F class shooter I can’t see it.

Their 5-25×50 mil/mil FFP has a lot of promise and is something I would buy for long range steel plates where match officials don’t allow range finders

Optics planet has them for just over a grand. It would most likely do a better job with Tactical comps.

Gary: Went to Burris website and they are listing MSRP at $1802.
I would give it a look at 1000 but for list price they are dreaming.
Where did author get the $1100 price–someone at SHOT?

Editor: Gary, If you watch the video at 1:55″ mark, the Burris rep says the product is $1199.00. He checked with his boss before we filmed this spot. It appears that there may be some misinformation — either on the website or in the info provided by Burris to us at the show.

I think they should have stuck with a SFP for F class. Reticle is way to busy for my liking.

Always liked Burris scopes. Cant say I care for the crosshairs.

Reticle looks like the cheesy Counter Sniper Optics one. Why would you offer an FFP optic with 1/8 MOA clicks? This scope will have no appeal to F-Class shooters or Tactical shooters.

Agreed. The reticle is too noisy. All that’s required is 1/8 inch dot in the center and 1 MOA graduations with 1/2 MOA graduations on the vertical and horizontal plane. The cross hair lines should subtend no more than 1/16 MOA – 1/32 MOA would be better still.

Being a FFP scope you most likely don’t even see the second horizontal line at 40x
