There maybe 8 million of us in California right now, but a lot of us are leaving because the repressive gun laws just keep coming: nearly a dozen every legislative session. And the courts aren’t helping us fast enough.

I think that what Richard was pointing out that percentage does not equal population, as stated in above table.

Based on UN population data and the gun ownership data above, Wyoming has roughly 210,000 gunowners. California has more than 8,000,000 gunowners, though.
8 MILLION gunowners in California? That is damned surprising, at least to me!

So the head-shed stays put and the workers relocate or find another job? I don’t know whether to be less impressed by this or by the myopia of those Maryland legislators who think that they are serving their constituents by forcing jobs out of state.

It’s all about the money!

The tax rate in TN is substantially less than Maryland. Then consider the additional tax break TN offers them to relocate, plus the land they will occupy.

As an ex-resident of the People’s Republic of Maryland, I find this news very pleasing. The only thing that would be more pleasing is if they would move their office, administrative and executive support functions out of Maryland, too, completely removing their presence (and entire payroll) from that misbegotten state.
