I for one dislike Remington,,, but am in love with this design. I can’t wait for them to get it figured out so I can get one. That said, I waited because I figured this would happen.

Remington does it again! I had one of their 700s in the ’70s. You know, the one with the “wanky” trigger group that liked to discharge when you closed the bolt. Three trips back to the factory…denial, denial, denial. I changed out the trigger group myself to a Timney…problem solved. Then the 597 17, now this. Well, what can you expect from a company that can’t even produce decent 22lr ammo.

It looks like Remington should stick to making that POS 700 rifle, the one that always needs it’s action trued, because it comes from the factory so poorly made that it has created it’s on cottage industry to make it right.
