		<description><![CDATA[Scot Parker does great work.  His scale will easily hang with the high end scale and no electronic interference to worry about.  BTW, Scott is a good, honest man.  Nice to trust the person you entrust with your shooting project.

		<description><![CDATA[I agree that balance beam scales can be excellent.  Keep it clean and watch for rust if its old, both on the knife edge that supports the beam, and the upward-facing knife edge that supports the pan.

I spent half a day stoning some rust off of my 30 year old 5-10, being very careful not to move the knife edge.  The result was good -  when trickling, I can usually call the number of kernels required to hit the weight.
