Wow great off hand shooting. Very impressive. Off hand being by far the most challenging aspect of the shooting sports.

Reading conditions is one thing. Holding a rifle still offhand and breaking a shot is another. Offhand shooters have to read the same wind as the bench riders and then have to also hold the rifle still while being blown around physically by said wind. Shooting small groups at long distances is impressive off a bench but not nearly in the same difficulty level as offhand.

While this was a great shot, I take exception to the statement that benchers shooters might have problems hitting a dinner plate at 100yds. Benchers shooters a very skillful at reading conditions and I don’t think would have much trouble hitting the plate with an iron sight rifle.

This does not take away the terrific skill of the subject shooter.
