The article is unfortunately inaccurate/ incorrect. Blaser developed and sell a R93 model with twin bolts and barrels by special request for prince Hamed. A google search for “Blaser R93 Duo”will bring up a whole lot of hits.

I suppose the manual of arms would be more similar to a double rifle than a bolt-action. Would take some practice to remember to operate the second trigger before running the bolt, especially in a high-stress situation.

I think a semi-auto firearm (think Barrett or similar) would be a more practical solution to the “three charging elephants” problem, but that may be preempted by politics/regulations. An interesting display of innovation and craftsmanship nonetheless.
