I believe this is incorrect. Even if Camp Perry matches are big an impressive – The Norwegian Voluntary Rifle Assosiation (DFS, very similar to the CMP) annually holds their Nationals, “Landsskytterstevnet”. This weeklong match usually collect 4-6000 participants, depending on whre in Norway it is held. The record. from Elverum 1990, stands at 7181. This is in a country with fewer people than Minnesota ;) — Krister

Editor: We are familiar with Landsskytterstevnet, which is a great competition indeed. However, mainland Norway is east of the Prime Meridian, which runs through Greenwich, in the UK. Accordingly, Norway is in the Eastern Hemisphere. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Hemisphere
