Hello Eric! Sure we would be up to trying it out. Always looking for better ways etc..

On the brushes....for the most part not a guy here uses a bore brush. I myself haven't used on since the late 80's or so. The only time I use a brush is once in a while it's on .22rf guns and only nylon brushes.

Frank,

Your opinion is very highly regarded, as it should be. There is no question that you guys produce one of the top barrels on the market. I'd like you to give me the opportunity to change your mind about the benefits of a Triangle Patch and send you some of our cleaning gear to try yourself. Are you up for it?

Go to the home page of our website and click on cleaning.

I use a Parker Hale jag. Cut your patch to length accordingly. Roll the patch like you roll a cigarette. Give it a twist with your fingers. Start it into the bore guide and add your solvent.

If your cleaning rod is flexing to much or the patch is squealing going down the bore your patch is to tight.

Um....o.k. I guess. The way I do may patches and the jag tips I use I get a uniform patch diameter and it keeps the tip of my rod centered going down the bore. Patch doesn't bunch up etc.. On my .30cal. the surface area of my patch is around 2" long. I don't see an advantage to the triangle patch. Just my opinion.
