Do you have any recommendations for improving the trigger on the new model 70 Winchester? My daughter bought one with the new moa trigger. We read the instructions and tried to lighten it but didn't have much luck. It is not consistent and couldn't seem to get it under 4.5 to 5 lbs.

I recently installed one of his varmint springs my a Tikka T3 and I was real impressed with its performance. I hated to shoot the gun before and I really enjoy it now. Great upgrade to the trigger without hanging an aftermarket on it.

I have installed one of his springs in an older Remington 700, and it worked out very well. With the proper spring, and adjustment, there is non of the "You have to close the bolt carefully" that always causes me to lower my opinion of the speaker's intelligence. The rifle can be handled normally, and passed my bolt slam ,slap the stock hard, and bump the butt on the floor tests, with a pound and a half trigger(varmint rifle).

I've put two of these springs in and they made a noticeable difference, well worth the small price. Ernie is great too, both times he sent me a personalized thank you for my order and has thoughtfully answered questions I had.
