The first thing I asked myself was, “What’s the definition of ‘unintentional’ as used in the report?” While I was unable to find that “definition”, I confirmed my expectations as to what was not included.

Note the data for age groups 5-9 thru 25-34, especially age group 15-24. I will not repeat the numbers here so there is no chance you think there was a typo.

The only “offset” to the CDC data is that they apply to a country with a population exceeding 313 million for the year reported.
