During the powder shortage, I had to use VV 340 instead of VV320. VV340 is a little slower but it works very well. I can make major with 200 RS Berry bullets with no problem. As the Editor says, it burns cleanly and doesn’t leave residue every where.

They are both the very best to use in your .45 ACP!

Problem I had with N320 loading USPSA Major PF in my 5″ 1911, it was at the top end of the range. If I wanted a little more PF for room, I would be too hot according to their load data. WST and W231 are much better for 45 USPSA major loads. If you can find it.

@ double the cost of Bullseye or WW 231 !!

Editor: It’s pricier, but the difference is not what you say. We are finding VV N320 at $32.00 per pound vs. $19.50 per pound for WW 231. That’s about 64% more, not double.
