I have shot it for the first time in a 1,000 yds match with good result, too. (I could have won the match if I didn’t incidentally mix my cartridges/loads on the second target/relay!…one lesson learned).
I would also try it for F-Open match next time, using the .284Win mode + put more weight on the rear bottom of the stock.
