Well the Bulletin article served its purpose: despite ordering one of these early on the morning of May 29th (website indicated "in stock" at that moment) after reading it, I've just received word from Bullets.com that unanticipated demand took all units off their shelves until - maybe - August 6th.

My only concern would be the adj seating depth. For a primer to operate correctly, it must be fully seated in the pocket. The anvil must be seated against the bottom of the pocket such that the firing pin hit compresses the mixture between the anvil and the cup. If the primer is not seated fully, the firing pin hit may further push in the primer loosing energy in the strike or the anvil may pop loose and cause degradation in the primer mixture.

It looks like a very nice and well made item. I would set it to always fully seat the primer if I was using however.

The lever is on the side unlike the 21st Century. I like them both, but the Bald Eagle is easier on the joints and you don't have to pick it up and down every time.

Early reports are that yes, there may be an improvement seen on targets with this. I suspect that once a few of these get into users hands we'll be hearing more.

I know my current priming tool (from Sinclair) has been accurate "enough" for my needs over the past seven or eight years after two RCBS fell apart. As I'm feeling some arthritis now, my hand gets tired from the limited leverage Sinclair's tool provides. To me any improvement on target will be secondary if one of these things makes getting cases ready to load more comfortable.
