Shot this last year. If you have any interest in precision, this match is NOT for you. They cancelled precision events (specifically the one in which the “World Champion” shot visible misses) and did everything possible to minimize the remaining precision events to meaningless rounding error to the run-and-gun numbers. Lots of testosterone and “no alibis” at the starting brief, followed by “we have to cancel this one because the equipment didn’t function properly” when it became apparent that the chosen few weren’t doing well.

Can’t believe the NRA is hosting this again at Peacemaker National Training Center. Last year’s match was built up as a World Class event and turned out to be a flop with only 149 entries. Because of the low turnout, they drastically reduced the prize table. I wouldn’t expect anything but the same from Peacemaker. Notice Trijicon is no longer a sponsor, they are hosting their own championship this year. Certainly a better choice for anyone interested in a quality hosted event.
