I was not talking about the shooting of Carl or anyone else .what I was talking about was the scoreing ring sizes being wrong. as I said the X ring is 3 inches and the 10 ring is 7 inches not 2.5 inches and 9 inches
and yes I have shor a little HP XC asI am a High masterXC and as far as 300 rapid look up the scores of the 1986
national matches. I have shot HP since the early 1960s

Ive been a member of accurate shooter and snipers hide for a few years now. Ive got to the point where im pretty happy with my prone shooting. Bipod high power scope etc. Then i met Hugo adelson. He was practicing with his 6mmbr elisio tube chassis rifle for a 600 yard camp perry match the next day. He shot just over a 3″ group at 300 fast fire open sight sling and jacket only. It was an eye opening experience to say the least. At the time i didn’t know who he was. Then i see his pic on elisios website anouncing his win at perry. Its one thing to shoot good groups off a bipod. Slow fire and a 32x scope. Its a whole nother unsupported open sights fast fire.

Does anyone know why Carl Bernosky did not complete all of the High Power Matches at the NRA Championship this year.
Carl’s sitting target is outstanding and the second prone target is also very good.
Judging by where the two sighting shots are the shooter must have made a sight correction but turned the sight knobs in the wrong direction. Bin there done that! But still 100 points is 100 points.

That top picture is Carl’s 200-yard sitting group. I was squadded right next to the shooter that fired that 100-0X, he has been shooting for over 40 years and that was his first ZERO X clean.

That’s right, it’s Accurate SHOOTER! Apparently you never tried shooting with no support other than a shooting jacket, a sling and a mat to lay on or you would not make that statement.

On just finished European Championships in Maribor we have seem record equaling 600-37x shot on but ISSF 300m prone targets you have 10cm (cca 3,9inches) bull and 2in X
