Questions:

1. How big was the target?
2. How many shots before he hit the target?
3. What was he shooting (cartridge, rifle specs)?

BTW: Earlier this year we started with our URSA (Unlimited Range Shooters Association) shoots in California. Our nearest target (a 37″ AR500 plate) is 2054 yards (NorCal) and 2086 (SoCal). We shoot 10 rounds. You have to hit the target 3 in 10 to qualify and 4 in 10 to advance to the next distance (2500+ in NorCal and 2630 in SoCal). So far (3 shoots at each venue) we have had one shooter do as well at 7 in 10 at 2054 and another 5 in 10 at that distance. We shoot monthly, with a brief break in Aug and Sep, resuming in October.
