Very nice having a tight weight spread. Interesting the Winchester brass is much lighter. Ive had plenty of dented Lapua necks, I run a expander mandrel in new brass to lighten and uniform the neck tension as well as true up the necks.

I recently did a similar comparison with .243 brass, Lapua, R-P, and Win. The Winchester brass showed the greatest variation in weight and wall thickness, the R-P less and the Lapua least of all. I internal deburred the flash holes and got about the same amount of chips from all three. Worst of all is the Lapua averaged 172 gr. The R-P 163 and the Win 160 gr. The latter two will shoot the same load with minimal velocity variation. The Lapua I have to drop a grain to match velocity. If you going to go Lapua, go all Lapua or you'll be forever adjusting loads to match dope.
