I ended up cutting off the base of a .357 magnum cartridge and slid it over the outside of the tube. Works great!
I couldn’t find a straw that would fit mine. I’ve had it for a long time, so it might be different than the newer ones.

After a while the rolled card gets coated with powder and gives even better result.
