It would be really nice if the data was automatically imported into a mobile ballistics app like strelok, applied ballistics, etc. That way you wouldn’t have to go between apps to manually enter the data.

It seems to me that it could be placed on a stand, somewhere between a shooter and his target, turned so as to register cross wind velocity, or mounted over the pivot of a wind flag so that it would always be pointing directly into the wind. Either way, one might come up with useful and interesting information.

I also have the original version and it has performed flawlessly. I guess I will have to apply my change jar savings plan to the newer version.
