Back in the late 90s, I wrote an article about the K&M tool, that offered the option of a carbide mandrel. Are you sure that Sinclair’s offering of that feature predates that? I don’t remember. Over the years, Sinclair has been pretty free about making their own versions of other people’s products. This would tend to make me less concerned about buying something that was the same as something that they sell.

IMO, Sinclair brought it to market, so the market should reward them, even @ $49.95.

Now if you did something other than sinclair has already been doing, that would be different and better for all.
Have you considered making carbide EXPANDER mandrels?

Yes sir, they sure will. All of our mandrels are compatable with all Sinclair, 21st Century Shooting and of course PMA Tool neck turners.

Will these carbide mandrels fit a Sinclair’s NT-4000 Premium Neck Turning Tool?
