Some one at Remington needs to see this… maybe they just have another set of gauges… Every 308 parent case rifle I have seen fails a nogo (closes)but passes (wont close) on the field.

Ok, so I watched the Brownells video, so a Field Gauge is even longer than the No-Go….hmmm, learned something new.

Shouldn’t that last sentence read: “A bolt that closes on “Field” but not on “No-Go” is close to…”
Just wondering as the bolt should never close on No-Go.

The no-go gauge is not necessary to properly set headspace.
