I know Paul, it is a crap bolt knob. I asked Ryan if he could install a different knob, but the action is a pretty old model and the bolt handle was too small in diameter to retro-fit a new knob. I know this isn’t a REAL great group for this chambering, they are very accurate and easy to load for. I simply love it. I took a decent antelope at 612 yds lying down this past fall in WY with it. The 140 hybrid found its mark. Maybe Ryan will chime in on the throating question.

I have had one built by a very good smith in Boise Idaho ( Norberg Costa) Bieng old 80 years young I shot it last week end in our local 600 yard shoot. Strong wind 23 mi;es an hour. It took 5.5 moa to hit the target. My first 3 groups we’re all in the 2 inches. My last group was 4 in 1.15 inch and then gun fell of front bag I put it back up last shot was 6 in. Great gun

I’m running 6.5×47 this year for NRA cross course. VERY good cartridge. It has the accuracy of the 6BR, the power of the 260, the barrel life of a 308, and excellent components available from lapua and Berger. Easy to load for as well. It shoots everything well.

Sorry to prick anyone’s bubble out there put that is typical 6.5 x 47 accuracy. I have a three shot single hole group on my desk at work using 142 Sierras off my belly on a bipod.

These things just shoot.

Was the chamber cut with a standard reamer or with a longer throat.

Every time someone posts a rifle that shoots good with h4350 it gets harder and harder to find. Darn it stop saying 4350. Haha.

It’s the KRG SV bolt knob. SV stands for small version.

He put the bolt knob on after I gave him the gun so Im not exactly sure on that.
