I own one and have no issues with the mag slide not closing.

Editor: According to our tester, 5,6,7 were the max capacities that could be inserted in the magazines and have the slide close. The 6,7,8 listed by Walther, we believe, is the mag + one-in-chamber total capacity. Jay was able to shove 8 rounds in the largest mag but the slide would not close.
