Ruger barrel vs Bergara barrel: BERGARA EVERY DAY. Not only that, but it comes with a muzzle brake, whereas the RPR does not. It also offers a longer bipod wheelbase, which is helpful. It should be interesting to see what the final street price is.

Editor: The latest Gen 2 Ruger Precision Rifles DOES come with a muzzle brake (and an lower profile handguard). See RPR Gen 2 specs here: http://bulletin.accurateshooter.com/2016/05/ruger-upgrades-ruger-precision-rifle-and-raises-price-200-00/

Lite is right considering the factory chassis is heavy. From their website:

Our Chassis take any AICS type magazines (Mag not included). See related products for magazines for your chassis. 4.9 lbs

The MPA BA Lite PCR Competition Rifle:

Chassis Weight: 2.9 lbs. (Overall rifle weight depends on barrel length and contour.)

Two pounds has gotten lost in order to make the chassis workable for these competitions. I've built some rifles using this chassis from the factory and they have been heavy obviously. This new competition model should be a little more portable.
