Matt – I’ve experienced NF scopes failing due to tracking becoming an problem when the internals fail. There is also a current issue with the glue used to hold the lenses in place that is being quietly dealt with.

The issue I have with this scope is, for Short and Long Range BR, a scope needs to have these issues worked though before the release and not be drowned in the hoop-lat of marketing and brand loyalty.

Wow! Richard I’ve never heard of a Nighforce scope having tracking problems. What is glue seepage? You mean the glue around the lenses are melting and pouring into the tube?

I think a bit more active testing is required over shooting two practice matches. NF production quality in other scope options have been a bit hit and miss recently with glue seepage and tracking failures over extended matches.
