Wow! 50% ‘ish’ energy loss at only 300 m? More importantly, the bullet has slowed down to a mere 1807 fps (551 m/s)??? That’s astounding, and will have a dramatically reduce terminal performance! I hunt a mix of dark timber AND open fields, don’t think I could ethically hunt with a bullet like this in a 308. Guess I’ll stick with Spitzer and pointy tipped spitzers like the Barns TSX or TTSX.
