It's good to know that a muzzle brake has no negative impact on the accuracy when installed properly. My friend told me that they need an improved design muzzle brake to enhance their firearm. I think they should look for a supplier that offers a wide selection of muzzle brakes to find the improved design that they want.

Since the appearance of Muzzle Brakes on the scene, shooters have discovered the benefits of using them. Many hunters and shooters alike have been able to enjoy their favorite pastime and take up their favorite big caliber rifle again. As far as I can tell, haters of muzzle brakes complain mainly about the redirected sound and gas discharge. Some complain about not being able to stand close to the shooter, and having to wear ear protection. Gun safety dictates that you should not be standing close to the shooter and you should be wearing hearing protection. I haven't experience an increase in shot noise, just a redirection of it. I've heard unsubstantiated tales of the redirected recoil of muzzle brakes affecting rifle scopes. Personally, I haven't witnessed any evidence of this. Rifle manufacturers are producing scoped rifles with built in muzzle brakes. Apparently, they do not feel using a muzzle brake on a scoped rifle is a problem.

I too have tested all sorts of muzzle brakes.
Accuracy is paramount - one can live with a less efficient brake.
Couple of items left out but all in all a very good article.
