Had he done so, he would have found feeding and jamming problems with the adapter.

I talked to Lee Precision about this and they told me that they made some improvements.

Because it is possible to get old stock, the upgraded ABP does not have a spring on the adapter. This is a quick visual check to ensure that you are buying the improved ABP.

Went back to my 20 plus yr. old Lee auto prime,I’ve never had a problem with it.Much better feel with the latter.
