They certainly could have gone with an integrated rail on top but that would probably blow the sub $1k price they were going for. Plus, a double pinned with 6 screw rail should do the trick I'd guess.

I'm confused on the barrel setup though. You specifically market it for barrel nut usage but don't make it out of the box compatible for savage or remage prefits? Kind of an odd choice.

Remington barrels require a " bolt nose " to stick out in front of the lugs. A savage barrel can do with a flat face bolt like the one pictured above. Then a 20 TPI thread on the action would be ideal for aftermarket savage barrels . Aftermarket Remington barrels would need the barrel chamber recess cut out and the chamber pushed forward to properly work unless I am wrong. So I am not that impressed for the moment. They could also have gone with an integral rail on top.

Considering the integrated recoil lug, rail, and nitriding, the pricing, starting at $998.00 US is interesting. However, while they use "precision" in multiple places on their website, I find nothing that actually speaks to how they build that precision in (e.g., how the raceways are cut, concentricity, etc.). I'd also like to know their plans for bolt diameter for the upcoming 338 model.

Their Facebook page showed 4 week delivery time back in July, seems they have virtually no stock. When I just ran their configurator, the only configuration that has any stock is SA, .308 bolt face, RB, RP, which has one (1) in stock...but accepting backorders.

BTW, a post on their FB page from early September says that "pictures" of the .338 version will not be available until early 2017. So shipping in 2106 seems unlikely - or FB needs updating.
