These are two loads Wilson Combat uses to shoot their test targets sent with new pistols.

4.8 gr. Bullseye
200 gr. LSWC
OAL 1.250″ .469 crimp
————————-
4.5 gr. N310
200 gr. LSWC
OAL 1.250″ .469 crimp

I prefer N310 because it’s cleaner and softer shooting (but it’s more expensive than BE).
Both loads punch a 1 hole group at 15 yards.

i did a several powder test with a couple 1911’s. i would like to add a couple more that had great results 700x and red dot red dot did extremely well. i did not shoot any powders at night. tom

VV320 is wonderful for 45 ACP. When it was in short supply, I tried VV340. I found I like it as much or more. It seems to work well with the 200 or 230 grain bullets. I use the VV320 with 185 Nosler match bullets.

I am shocked more shooters don’t use VV powders in their 45 ACP. Oh and VV320 works great in a .380 too.
