I have a Vortex level on one rifle now , and will be ordering another for the current "new" build . Have had zero issues with it and a quality piece is a quality piece ; no matter where it's made . These just happen to be made in the U.S.of A.
Like Dad always said ; "Buy one good one , and you'll only have to buy One".

canting device should be for scope's cliks that are true horizontal & vertical, not for canted crosshair, which a lot of scopes sufferes for.

put canting lever on scope for true horizontal & vertical cliks and than mount this setup on rifle in whatever position you like.

EDITOR: This is an important valid point. Some scopes do have a canted reticle. I had one that was 1.5 deg off. But with premium brand scopes, this issue should not be that common. If you do have a canted reticle (when indexed from centerline) you can sometimes rotate the scope in its mounting. But the poster is correct, you want the alignment to correspond to the true click movement. Bottom line you want your horizontal clicks to be truly horizontal (not at a slight diagonal). But this is the subject for a full article in itself.
