If I understood the complete story , and the correct legal process , the District lawyers have the right to have the case heard by the whole panel at the circuit . If they lose at that level , they can then ask SCOTUS to hear the case . Should the circuit court full panel overturn the ruling , the Plaintiff has the right to seek a hearing before SCOTUS . Personally ; I think the full panel will uphold the ruling , and that will end it .
The ruling was very clearly stated , and the anti-gunners won’t take anything to SCOTUS that isn’t a “LOCK” for them to win .
