Have a look at my write-up on the 6.5mm Creedmoor and the photo about half way through the feature showing a couple of huge shards removed from the flash-holes of early production Hornady cases.

I think you will find on Lapua flash holes can run over the .0595 to as much as .064 so i have found the .0625 reamer to be sufficient to uniform them……. jim O’Hara

Jim: You raise a good point. The .0625 will definitely do the job. However, on most of our 6mmBR brass, an .0625 diameter bit actually over-cut, increasing the size of the original holes. To our surprise, we found that this altered velocity slightly, indicating a change in pressure.

I like the K&M tool as it also does a light chamfer.
